Welcome to our inaugural TAQA Safety Day event!

A strong focus on safety is at the center of our business, which is why ‘Safe’ is the first and most important value at TAQA Group.

This Safety Day, our theme is safety leadership. Safety leadership doesn’t only include leaders or people who work in an HSE role. Everyone can be a safety leader.

This year, we are recognizing people across our business who are championing safety, and our Safety Day event focuses on empowering everyone across the entire Group to become a better safety leader and deliver on our safety values.

Make sure you register for one of the sessions depending on your geography and availability.

What you can expect

Safety Presentations in the Exhibit Hall: Hear directly from safety leaders from across the business on major projects and personal experiences on safety. This is a chance for you to do a deeper dive on some of the important HSE work we’re doing.
HSE performance update: Our Chief Risk and Internal Audit Officer will give an important update on our HSE performance and focus areas for the next year. Join us in the Auditorium for the live event.
Panel discussion on safety leadership: Hear from our leaders and senior operational team members on how to empower safety leaders in our organization and their experience in shaping safety culture and performance.
Guest speaker: Join us for engaging remarks by Steve Rae, who was onboard the Piper Alpha oil platform in 1988 on the night it suffered a series of catastrophic explosions. He has spent more than 35 years in the energy industry, sharing his experience and passion for making positive change in safety culture across industries and geographies.

Do I need to register for Career Link Job Fair 2021?

Yes, you will need to register here.

Do I need to download or install any information or software to attend this event?

No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have access to the internet, so you can participate wherever that is.

How do I log in on the day of the event?

You can use your email address that you have entered during registration to login on the day of the event.

The times for the live events are not convenient for me. Can I still participate?

The event will remain open 24/7 for (on-demand days) days! However, the interaction with the employer will not be available except during the event time (10:00am – 3:00pm)

Who do I contact if I have troubleshooting issues on the day-of?

Will I be able to take away information or brochures from the event?

Yes. Like a physical event, we will have a swag bag for you! You can add all of the documents available to the online swag bag in your account and then email them to yourself or share items with your colleagues simply by entering their email.

Where will the event be held?

This is an online event. You do not have to travel to any specific location. You can participate anywhere that you have Internet access.

Is the event accessible on a cell phone?

In order to make the most out of the VFairs platform, we highly recommend using a PC or laptop device while accessing the event during the live event day. Although the event is accessible through mobile devices, the platform behaves differently depending on the device you own, and your device's operating system as well.

How do I apply for jobs on this platform?

To apply for jobs, you need to log in to the event and navigate to the Exhibit Hall through the navigation menu at the top. Once you are in the Exhibit Hall, you can browse through all the booths companies have set up and click on the one you’re interested in. Once you are in the booth, click on the tab which says Job Vacancies and scroll through the jobs available. You can then apply for the ones which seem relevant to you.
